Jamie has been writing and recording original material for the last fifteen years. Jamie’s first experience at recording was when he was 16 and performed in two bands – Lost Children & Acquiesce (now performing under the name Edison). During this time, both bands had success in the West Midlands as young, but accomplished, acts. This all came to an end and Jamie pursued a career as a soloist giving him the opportunity to support Joan Armatrading, Chris Smith, Journey, Neil Diamond, Simon Webb (Blue) and The Hoosiers on their tours. Jamie released his debut EP – Stripes – in 2013 and from this was chosen to be added to a UK compilation record of the best unsigned talent.
In 2013 Jamie was a guest on BBC radio as part of their BBC Introducing, a search for fresh unsigned talent and has been back to the local studios on three occasions now to perform live. In 2014 Jamie got down to the last 25 in an MTV talent search competition. As well as performing all around the UK, Jamie has had the pleasure of touring Italy and performing in Spain and France.
More recently, Jamie has been concentrating on writing new music and has also written lyrics and recorded lead vocals on an album being released in 2016.
