Jamie has been acting professionally since 2012 when he made his professional debut in the Imagine Production of Dick Whittington playing the part of Stinky the Rat. Since then, Jamie has worked with the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company), numerous Pantomimes and some fringe musicals in London. As well as professional work, Jamie can be regularly seen in productions at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. Previous roles include: Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, Freddy in My Fair Lady, Cogsworth in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Bella Zangler in Crazy for You, Bill Sykes in Oliver! and Ali Hakim in Oklahoma! As well as stage work Jamie has worked on TV, Film and audio. These include the short film Evelyn, voice overs for Apple, Free Radio and played multiple roles in Sci-Fi audio book Lave and, most recently, a one-off television programme for the BBC – My Country: A Work in Progress – adapted from a recent National Theatre play of the same name.
Jamie’s next stage performance will be at the Newark Palace Theatre playing the role of Pimple in Beauty & The Beast for Imagine Theatre. Performance dates are the 8th of December to the 3rd of January and tickets can be purchased here – TICKETS
